Chris Bosh continued his public proclamations that he is itching to get back into the Miami Heat lineup Monday, releasing videos of himself working out on the court. He is doing so in the belief that the Heat will clear him to play this season, according to ESPN’s Michael Wallace, who reports that he intends to be available for training camp.

The saga regarding Bosh’s medical condition has been ongoing since February, when he was sidelined by season-ending blood clots for the second consecutive year. The Heat organization has offered nothing definitive about Bosh’s clearance to play since then, while the power forward has periodically used social media to show himself preparing for an NBA return.

However, the Heat have used Bosh in promotional campaigns for the 2016-17 season. Last month, team president Pat Riley called Bosh’s situation “fluid” and “complicated,” and said decisions would be made closer to the season. Owner Micky Arison also alluded to his return.

Bosh last played a NBA game on Feb. 9, when he is believed to have suffered a recurrence of blood clots which cost him the final 29 games of the 2014-15 campaign. A potentially life-threatening condition, Bosh has been treated with blood thinners – while since appearing in a commercial for anticoagulant product Xarelto.
