Warning: Story contains coarse language

Every team in the NBA is either waiting out the Golden State Warriors, or they’re trying to muster a legitimate challenge. To those who try, Draymond Green laughs at you.

Green gave a brutally candid interview to Clay Skipper of GQ in which he openly dismissed any stumbling blocks standing in the way of Golden State’s third title in four years.

On the topic of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the unlikely winners in 2016, the likely East champions for a fourth-straight season, who boast LeBron James in his prime and a host of current and past All-Stars, Green was rudely dismissive.

“They didn’t stand a f—— chance. It pissed me off we didn’t sweep them, though.”

On the topic of the Houston Rockets, who reloaded with Chris Paul this summer, the team guided by a general manager in Daryl Morey that proclaimed that the Warriors were “not unbeatable,” Green said the following.

“What the f— are you talking about? They are really trying to rethink their whole strategy because teams know they don’t have a f—— clue.”

And finally, on the only loss that spoiled an otherwise perfect run to their second championship, Green wrote it off as the exception that proved the rule.

“That’d never been done! (Cleveland) don’t come out and hit twenty-four threes and they’re swept. And that’s the second best team in the world. It’s pretty f—— sick to see how everybody is just in a f—— panic about what to do. You sit back and think, like, these motherf—–s, they know. That’s the fun part about it: They know they don’t stand a chance.”

Green might be brash, but he has a point. Golden State not only retained their four All-NBA players under 30, they also managed to improve the margins of their roster. The whole league is sold at this point: 93 percent of general managers like the Warriors to repeat and Vegas likes them as the biggest title favorites ever in any sport.
